Imagine laying in the middle of stonehenge, looking up at the sky above, and just laying there, unmoving, as time passess by.

 

This is the ideology behind this acrylic painting.

 

The irregular polygon shape was inspired first by the canvasses 'irregular polygons by Frank Stella', and secondly by the urge to straighten crooked paintings.

 

This painting is the correct way up through all 360 degrees of rotation.

 

A careful exploration of the landscape will reveal that the 7 stones are not all from Stonehenge, but also from Avebury and Hawks Tor on Dartmoor, all in the UK.

 

As day repeatedly passes to night, the four seasons pass, depicted by seasonal landscapes.

 

The keen and knowledgeable viewer will note that the artist has signed the painting at the pint of her birthday.

 

The painting revolves on a complex arrangement of strings on the back.
