This 10 page Nautical scrapbook journal photo mini album measures 6 by 4 inches and is bound with two hinged rings with a chain and loop closure.

To create the impression of rolling waves and the sea, layers of torn paper strips in graduating blues are used to make a pocket into which three bleached wood effect tags are tucked.
The beach hut opens to reveal a place for a photograph.
Fibres and shell beads add a tactile element to the page.
This top opening pocket page contains 4 nautical themed cards which can be used to mount photographs or messages.
The pocket can also accommodate a variety of loose photographs or messages.
The pocket is held closed by winding the twine around the two recycled buttons.
The distress painted wood frame has space for a feature photographand is made from recycled wood (coffee stirrers).
A vellum envelope pocket has been placed in the middle of the album to hold additional photographs or memoribilia. Three journaling cards have been provided and the vellum has been decorated simply by using sea themed postage stamps.

This flap and slit pocket page holds a large layered photograph matt and several tags of assorted sizes.
The edge of the on page pocket is formed by the hand stitched sail on the stick boat.
The twig boat evokes childhood beach memories with its hand stitched calico sail.
The sea effect is sprinkled randomly with sparkle and enhanced with a textural fibre.
The paper used throughout came from docrafts papermania 'ahoy there' paper pad.
The blue range of Tim Holtz distress inks used are; chipped sapphire, faded jeans, stormy sky and weathered wood.
Fishbay Elements from Etsy made up a custom bundle of British Blue fibers which add a wonderful textural element to this album.
