Dream in pink

14 Sept 2017

Lemoncraft#8

Autumn is coming. Soon, the morning fog will start.
So, let it be pink ;-)

Dreams in pink

Doesn't she look stunning in her beautiful pink wedding attire?

I used several different papers from the Heart Painted paper pack as the background layers for this card.

The colour theme is pink and white with a mauve accent, spattered ink drops, pink flowers and pearl decoration all inspired from the moodbaord,

Plenty of layers, a little stamping and some amazing florals.

Thank you for looking, I read all your lovely comments

love...we found happiness

05 August 2017

Lemoncraft #7

Finally we've got wonderful summer days!
It's hot and sunny :-)
And we've got a new summer challenge for you.
BLUE SUMMER.

Love, somewhere between here and there we found happiness

Summer is for weddings. 10 years ago some very good friends said 'I do' to each other.  This layout celebrates that anniversary.

The grooms favourite colour is blue and he likes all things vintage.

The colour wash is worked wet into wet on heavy watercolour paper, with splatters of a darker blue ink and frantage embossing powder as features.

Crackle medium was applied through a distress stencil.

Layers of lemoncraft papers have been used to accent the feature photograph.

Decorative chipboard shapes suggest the number 10, and have been used to frame a section of the photograph.

I made 33 tiny white blooms, and dropped them randomly onto the layout, adhering them where they landed.

A single bloom was broken up so that the same technique could be applied to its petals.

Thank you for looking, I read all your comments,

Hugs

debbie

Bloom like a summer meadow

16 July 2017

Lemoncraft #6

All you have to do is to create a rustic project BUT with very colourful flowers. Create a rustic background with a colourful summer meadow on it.

The House of Roses paper pad has some beautiful rustic backgrounds in it, team this with Daydream which has the most intense colours to make this beautiful 'Bloom' layout.

This challenge was a lovely opportunity to rummage through the bright coloured florals in my collection, including some of the silk flowers.

I got some new circle dies at The Works and my husband cut me lots of each style so I had them to hand to make the interlaced circle frames as inspired by the circles on the moodboard.

I also experimented with the current trend for sprinkling sequins on your layout for a random and sparkling effect.  I backed this with a hydrangea flower head cut from kay and co, inspired by the hydrangea on the moodboard.

I love working on the rustic wood effect backgrounds which compliment both modern and vintage layouts.

Thank you for looking, I read all your comments

Hugs

Debbie

Celebrate

07 June 2017

Lemoncraft #5

Two colours - pink and turquoise, in all their shades.
Create a project in these two colours or in one of them.
You can use white or black but not too much ;-)

Celebrate

Celebrate in teal and pink, two colours that go so well together, and can be found in the Lemoncraft paper stack Daydream which has been used as the background layered on teal and white to enhance the colours.

Swirls in sparkle medium, a mixed media layered arrangement from scrap card, filigree, die cuts and resin coloured with a variety of teal paints and spray colours add texture and visual interest.

The bloom and feather design already printed on the paper has been recreated with a swirl of pink paper blooms, sugar stamens and berries.

Finished with contrasting white lace and die cut delicate butterfly, this layout makes a beautiful special occasion card.
